Boozers No Match For Rejuvenated GD, Fall 15 - 7

With the exception of stalward Dan Dischinger the Boozers bats were mostly silent against a rejuvenated GD team that saw the return of their ace starter from vacation. The Boozers mustered only 7 runs on 14 hits while giving up 15 runs, mostly in the first two innings, as GD evened the first round playoff series at a game apiece.

GD jumped to an early lead with seven runs in the 1st and four more in the 2nd, while the Boozers could only respond with two runs in the 1st and were then held off the board for the next three innings. By the time the Boozers pushed across their third run in the 5th inning GD had built a healthy 12 - 3 lead, and were never seriously threatened despite the Boozers rallying for four more runs in the bottom of the 7th.

The loss evened the first round series at 1 - 1.
